Rapid, Reusable Technology for High Capacity Water Treatment

Versatile and high efficiency water filtration at any scale

Background

With contemporary water treatment methods, the removal of natural organic matter prior to the chlorination process creates halo-organic disinfection byproducts. These byproducts have been faced with increasing stringent levels of regulation by the EPA as their carcinogenicity and other adverse health impacts are becoming more fully understood. This increasing level of regulation is now reaching the point that current treatment methods are becoming inadequate, creating a need for new materials and approaches to water treatment.

Technology Overview

This filtration technology uses NanoResin materials as filtration media to achieve peak removal of natural organic matter. These NanoResins are created through the use of single-walled carbon nanotubes functionalized with a strong base anion resin, increasing the number or active ion exchange
